BMW S1000RR (2019) review, on-board, technical insight & history

On paper the new S1000RR is lighter, faster and has a host of rider aid upgrades, not to mention arm-wrenching power! But does it just fill its predecessor’s shoes or burst the seams?

Love that bike! It was on display during the local Vienna Autoshow.
Had a seat on it, it actually feels quite small and nimble, ready for action! Never been much of a fan of the M-performance style livery, but otherwise a true beaut!
What more you could ask for in a bike?! Sure… a Panigale V4 R looks a little more exotic and they have gotten a little more rideable, but still.
But first… I need to get some experience on a less hardcore bike… me thinks Honda CBR650R, Triumph Daytona 765R or Aprilia RS660.

Rode Snavel says:

It looks quite small for a 1000 cc

Maxx SpeedForce says:

I had a deposit on this bike and was the first one to have put a deposit on it at my local BMW dealer. After two weeks I was lucky that they reimbursed for my deposit. The more I looked at it the less I like the bike so I ended up canceling my pre order. I still don’t like it. Great features though.

Banditmanuk says:
