THE Ural sidecar has its origins in Germany, was further developed in Russia and is now owned by American based Russians. A long road you might say, and although many years have passed since the Russians took the design as part of the German/Russian non aggression pact in 1939, the humble Ural still has an old world feel about it. In our book that’s very much part of the allure of this motorcycle.
If you are planning a great escape, there would be no better way to do it than on a modern classic sidecar such as the Ural.
Thanks to John at Ural Australia for sidecar training and the test bikes.

Beautiful
LOVE THE MUSIC. WHAT IS IT?
i wonder if you can use a hydrolic system like they do on 2wd bikes to make the side car chair 2wd again
Этот мотоцикл надежен как молоток. Незаменим в поездках на рыбалку в труднодоступные места.
In spite of having a bad experience with my first Ural, I love these bikes and the people associated with them.
You have two urals ?
Pees of shit …….
Wonderful. Are these two-wheel-drive with the sidecar on that side? Hope that’s an option or will be one soon as it’s one of the main things about these fabulous machines. 2WD and no differential with unbelievable off-road potential!
Even if not and just 1WD these look superb.
