KTM 250sx/xc Motocross to Enduro

A walk around / review video of my 2006 KTM 250SX that has been converted to an enduro XC. It has a G2 throttle tamer, Scotts damper, Steahly flywheel weight, Rekluse and other mods.

Very cool video. Around the same year 250 or 300 xc that I’m hoping to pick up in around 6 months or so. I currently trail ride a 98 yz125, I’m 27 and it’s my first bike once I got the hang of using the clutch for power control I love it. I’m wanting something with a bit longer intervals for topends and a bit more bottom end. I just hope I can handle it lol.

do you know the color of the power valve spring? could be a cheap way to mellow it out . i think the red is the most aggressive hit, yellow medium, green easy. i think…..

Heartland Dual Sport says:

Good buy my friend, that is not bad at all.
Sounds like some really good mods for the bike to get it tuned down some for trails and what not.
Thanks for sharing my friend and I hope you have a blessed week.
Keep up the fun videos.

still have the rekluse setup?

convex says:

I got used to Moto supsension. Even on hard rocky rutty uphill trails. Then on a trail bike it always felt like I couldn’t haul 4th gear on the whoops

Z Shark says:

I guess the money you would get to sell it would make sense. Better to just keep it as a backup bike. I’m surprised the flywheel weight didn’t make more of a difference. What size tank is that? Looks like you can get lost in the woods for awhile with that :)

markmtbrider says:

cool., i will head out to have a go on your loner bike when the snow melts….

Mike Frank says:

Nice Video Mark. Did you fire Mike? Not pulling his weight? J/K
You mention that the either bike will put a smile on your face. There really aren’t many bikes (that are working) that don’t put a smile on my face. I ride a 300 XC, but sometimes when my son is distracted I pull his CRF150F out and do figure 8s in the yard! I think it puts out a whopping 11 HP, but it still makes me smile — WAY better than the lawn mower or the hedge trimmer or whatever chore I’m supposed to be doing…

markmtbrider says:

1400 sounds like a screaming good deal.

Tom Partee says:

change your slavins powervalve spring to tame it down.

sixthisoverdrive says:

Good on ya to burn on a ballsy bike like that…from a guy who’s old as well.

markmtbrider says:

you guys under snow out there?

TippytoeRider says:

Good video.  That bike does have handfuls of power.

eveRide ADV says:

$1400?! Man that’s a steal! Excellent video Mark!
