Sidi Crossfire 2 TA

Sidi Crossfire TA 2 Boots
The newest evolution of SIDI’s premium off-road boot is the Crossfire 2 featuring more adjustability to accommodate wider calves and redesigned buckles that are easier to operate with a gloved hand.

Dual Flex System:
The hinged, dual position, stitch-free upper is constructed from injection-molded plastic. With the exclusive Dual Flex system and the four floating independent straps the Crossfire can provide each rider with a personal fit no matter of body shape or use with knee braces or not.
Adjustable Calf System:
Sidi’s exclusive, patented, adjustable calf system allows the rider to adjust the diameter of the Crossfire boot at the calf. This system, along with longer upper straps, allows the Crossfire boot to accommodate riders with larger calves much easier than the previous Crossfire. The Crossfire can accommodate riders with up to a 22-inch calf diameter 14 inches above from the bottom of their heel. The inner plastic plate is made of two different materials; a rigid one to support the boot and a heat resistant one to protect the rider’s leg from exhaust heat. All components of this system are fully replaceable and are available in a wide variety of colors for the option of customizing the boot to your taste.
Non-Bootie Design:
Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome, add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.
The cam-lock buckle system incorporates a strap memory retention system.
Adjust the straps once and they will be at the same position for every ride after that! No more readjusting for every ride or mid-day during a ride.
The tip of the toe on the Crossfire and Charger boots are covered with plastic to protect the base material and seams against abrasion from brush etc. Plastic shift and brake lever guards on the top of each foot area.
Other Features:
Lined with air Teflon mesh and Cambrelle

Rui Carvalho says:

i think i just found out my first pair of boots; shot! thanks

littlefarmer32 says:

Thanks for comparing, I have used Thor mx boots, got only 2 seasons of hard riding. I have been wearing my leather BMW boots, on my dual sport. At 9 years old I do need to replace them with some boots durable water proof, and somewhat affordable. Good times offroad, have fun

690 ADV says:

that was very enjoyable to watch, keep making them

Ronan Rogers says:

I have the Gaerne Balanced. The protection is less than Sidi Adventure, especially around the ankles, but I couldn’t feel anything with my Sidi so I returned them. The Gaerne protection is probably adequate, but it’s just so comfortable to ride and walk in..if you don’t mind a little sacrifice they are beautiful

Herman Brits says:

You got a new sub

Carl Ellesmere says:

Great video. I had to return my TCX drifters, riding in torrential European rain they weren’t waterproof at all, unfortunately, which is a shame as they’re a great boot. Don’t know what to buy next?

billy4rocks says:

Loved it, thanks for sharing.

T L says:

Love the review. It helped me make up my mind on the type / style of boot I need. Keep up the good work. I would love to see you do a review of the new KTM 300 XC-W as there are not a lot of quality reviews of it out there.

Calingasan Restie D says:

How much is gaerne

Lubear 21 says:

I’m after protection, not dress boots, mx boots all the way!

Fredrik Hildén says:

good work man and a solid presentation.

PainAndMurphy says:

X11 is ‘vegan’ it seems! Goodie!

Trevor William says:
