2016 Indian Scout | First Time Riding | Fast Cruiser

Who said Cruisers are slow and Can’t handle the curves? This bike blows that myth outta the water. I had so much fun riding this beautiful 2016 Indian Scout. I am lucky to have gotten a chance to do a review on this American Beauty. Youngblood Powersports

Jed Higgerson says:

Can I ask how tall you are? Just curious how comfortable i’d be on it at 6’3″! Thanks great vid

Mike Pitz says:

Hey , how’s the engine braking ?
Do you find it soft?

Jonathan Garzon says:

are you able to do a victory gunner review?

Chris Free says:

this music .. really ?? with a Indian motorcycle ?? maybe for a sports bike..?

Dakota Burns says:

Nice review! I bought a 2016 Indian Scout (Indian Red) 6 weeks ago. New rider .. so far I have 1300 miles logged and will probably put 100 more on it today. Excellent bike!

BEHEDETY says:

Woah! beautiful day for ride!!!!with that beauty!

fred frizzenpan says:

I OWN A 2016.
KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR FAILING FUEL PUMPS,WILL HAPPEN AT A HALF TANK.
FACTORY IS IN DENIAL. CAUSES STALLING UPON RELEASING THE THROTTLE OR ON DOWNGRADES. ENGINE BRAKING WILL HARSHEN UP, THROUGH THE ROOF. THE LACK OF A PROPER FUEL SUMP MAKES THIS BIKE IS A DEATH TRAP. SEVEN REPAIRS AND THREE GASTANKS LATER, THE BIKE STILL MISSES AND SURGES, AND THE FACTORY SAYS IT’S FINE. BUYER BEWARE.

Shelton Clark Jr says:

Hmm. Wonder if that engine braking is soft.

wayne ladgrove says:

I have had my Scout since December 2016 my first road bike/cruiser. After test riding other makes nothing compared to the Indian. The power opposed to other 1200cc bikes was huge a V Rod was comparable, but anything like 103 cube in the HD range the Scout is like a missile armchair compared to the opposition.

skip4250 says:

Dude, you need to get out of second and third gear.

jordan rodriguez says:

anal log

Johann R Xavier says:

Seriously thinking of purchasing the Scout. you gave me a great overview! how significant is the engine breaking issue? am looking at a 2017 scout. Thanks.

Cody Mcgonagill says:

lamest music in history

The404force says:

Awesome video Bud, I’ve been interested in this bike since it was announced, I just can’t take my eyes off of it, it’s like that girl you want to ask out during the school days lol. I always find interesting to watch videos of people that are more into sport/super sport bikes trying cruisers, making their points with solid and not biased arguments, you seems to have a lot of fun riding that bike, and it should be like that no matter what kind of bike you have, considering the pavement hits the same for everyone lol Greeting from Colombia, ride safe!

Richard Massey says:

I have been jonesing for a Scout, so have watched a ton of reviews. Your is one of the better ones. Thank you for covering the heat question at the end. I’ve only seen one other that touched on it. You mentioned Arkansas and curves. Have you taken “The Pig Trail”, Hwy. 23 south from Huntsville, Ar. ? One of the best curvy roads in the country & pretty close to you. Thanks again for an excellent review.

PanamaSabroso says:

That thing is sexy

Daniel Dowling says:

As far as touring; I do it. The Scout is just fine on longer hauls. I’ve done 3 mountain passes in a day with camping gear strapped on. Done 600 miles in a day and been on the road for 6 days at a stretch. Has its limitations, but it will travel.

James Hamilton says:

I’ll trade you bikes.

TxGamer13 says:

Redline is around 8300 RPM, same as the Scout 60, although I’ve never hit it on mine lol

Jose Luis says:

That’s a nice ride.

Solar Roof says:

Excellent motorcycle ! In new Indian motorcycle engine’s  vibrations there are very few ! Technically, their modern engine technology and a high level! The frame and engine vibration Mute is very good  !

Pico51 says:

God bless, sir. Great heart in your review.

Sunbear805 says:

Polaris is the oldest bike manufacturer in the US?

GsxrGrl21 says:

I’ve test drove this bike, the Victory Octane and the Harley 48. All very different! Great job man! Like the editing in the beginning

Adjacent Ajax says:

Keep up the videos man nice work I’m trying to get enough money to take my classes to try and get my motorcycle license here and then save up to get my bike don’t know what bike tho anyways love the videos have a great day or night

Maxwell Actual says:

It’s funny, you said that you ride super sports but on an Indian you’re driving Miss Daisy lol

Todd Donnelly says:

The limiter doesn’t kick in till 8,000rpm FYI! Also if you were to really open it up, the torque never drops off as the Rpms rise, it actually pulls slightly harder the higher you go. This can absolutely be a beginners bike, I just took an MSF course and got my license to buy the flat black scout, it will just take a few rides to get used to the power. I love mine but a set of after market slip ons is a must for me, way too quiet stock. Nice vid

Gene Coppola says:

Good review, thanks, I may get one , will be a nice addition to my Bonnie..

Bostin Aycock says:

I rode this bike for the first time a few days ago and I was blown away by how fast it is. I don’t know if it’s just an illusion because of the rapid torque delivery or what but right off the line this thing is faster than my 600. A second gear pull is pretty nuts, it’ll put you well up to 80mph easily in seconds. The mirrors are trash in my opinion. It’s too close. I would like them more towards the front of the bike. I also don’t like the brakes, they felt too spongy. A light ass 450 pound sport bike has TWO massive 330m rotors with two 4-piston calipers….this scout has ONE 300mm rotor with a 2 piston caliper? For a bike that weighs 550 lbs? Wtf kind of engineering is that

Y steve says:

I had myself got a test ride. Incredible performance throughout.

Fat Harold says:

is it comfortable for a fe hundred miles?
